Catering Assistant to M/S Fjärdvägen

We are currently looking for **Hospitality Crew Members / Catering Assistants** to join our vessel **M/S Fjärdvägen.** We are offering **two permanent contracts** with access in **April 2026** or as agreed.

We are looking for **service-minded and flexible team players** who enjoy practical work and thrive in a maritime environment where **cooperation and reliability** are essential.

**Your daily duties will include:**

\-Assisting the galley and participating in food preparation

\-Housekeeping and cleaning of passenger and crew areas

\-Supporting daily service routines within the hotel department

\-Providing friendly customer service to ensure a pleasant experience onboard

To succeed in this role, we believe you have experience in similar tasks, such as **restaurant work, cleaning, or other customer service roles**.

Requirements:

\-Must be at least **18 years old**

\-**Seafarers Medical Certificate** is mandatory for all sea crew; this can be obtained in advance at a Seafarers Health Center

\-Previous experience working as a chef is considered an advantage

Additional information

**_M/S Fjärdvägen_** sails under the **Finnish flag** and operates daily between **Långnäs (Åland)** and **Naantali (Finland)**. The work rotation follows a **1:1 schedule**, with two weeks onboard followed by two weeks off.

We value good language skills **(Swedish, English & Finnish)**. The official working and safety language on board is **English**.

Please note that we apply a **drug testing** practice for new employees.
